i was absolutely aghast at the lack of attention to detail at this so-called ‘luxury’ hotel. the spa bath plug release mechanism was broken, leaving me to fumble with keys, and don't even get me started on the cold room. i expected a warm welcome, perhaps a room upgrade at the very least, but no. just awful, really.

Waking up to the serenity of nature was truly magical. The large, comfortable bed and quality dining experiences, especially at dinner, left a lasting impression. Spotting unique wildlife right from our bungalow was a bonus!

Several maintenance issues need attention. The heating in the rooms was inadequate, and some guests experienced faulty amenities like broken light fixtures and noisy TVs. It can also get a bit chaotic on weekends with families letting their kids run wild, which detracts from the otherwise tranquil environment. limited kitchenware in the bungalows made meal preparation a hassle, and the dirt road access leaves a lot to be desired — bumpy and poorly maintained, it’s not for the faint-hearted.

The bungalows are spacious and clean, perfect for families! Our horse riding excursion was a fun highlight.

we absolutely loved our stay at ardea purpurea. the bungalow we had was tranquil and located near beautiful grounds. it was also close to great birdwatching spots. the staff were really nice and made us feel welcome. We definitely recommend dining at the hotel. the food was top-notch and quite filling.

Tranquil Stay with Exceptional Dining Experience

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in a bungalow, which was beautifully located in lush gardens with a stunning view from the room. The restaurant exceeded my expectations with its exceptional and reasonably priced dinners, really a highlight of my trip. On the downside, the chilly room on arrival took some time to warm up, which could be improved.

The accommodation is beautifully set within lush gardens, featuring a splendid pool and comfortable sunbeds. Service was warm and attentive, though the dining experience felt a bit upscale for a casual setting. The view from the room added to the overall charm of the stay.

A hidden gem surrounded by nature 🌳 with lovely grounds perfect for unwinding! The restaurant served delicious dinners and breakfast offered cooked eggs. I was even given a packed lunch to take along on my adventure!

Noise from nearby guests could disrupt the peace at night.

Just a fine choice for a holiday in Villamanrique De La Condesa with excellent value for money. The dinner we had was exceptional and surprisingly affordable, which we really enjoyed. Bring insect repellent for the outdoor dining experience.
